This is one that I've been thinking about doing for a while. I love the steampunk aesthetic but I need to practice drawing gears and stuff more. Fortunately perfectly drawn gears weren't the point of this design.

    I think it was a combination of 7th grade science class and reading the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix.
